New Chicago Foodie Favs

The Cookie Bar:   We were driving to dinner on Lincoln Avenue when I spotted it.  A cookie bar, no way... oh yes way.  Did you know all their cookies have no trans fat, but trust me they're delish.  We ordered choc chip, nutella choc chip, and oatmeal raisins.  This is partly because I'm very much a vanilla girl, and I love the classics, but not to worry they have a variety of cookies.  And the best part is they have an ice cream counter... that's right folks you can make your own ice cream sandwiches, genius!!  Can't wait to come back in the warmer months to try it out.

La Boulangerie: This place reminds me of the cafe's we went to in Paris, swoon.  You can catch the highlights of our Paris trip here.  With crepes, baguettes, macaroons, and croissants what's not to love.  The only down side is that you have to buy their croissants by the dozen.  It's the perfect Saturday morning treat, a little Parisian ambiance, and a butter & sugar crepe, heaven!
