We are 18 weeks into our pregnancy and of course several baby books down, with more to go. Here is what's currently on our reading list (and I'm sure it'll keep growing):
Light Reading:
Belly Laughs - A quick and easy read that hilariously highlights some of the other aspects of pregnancy you don't always hear about.
Sippy Cups Are Not For Chardonnay - in the queue to be read
Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy - An okay read
Reading:
Bringing Up Bebe - A New Yorker's perspective on French parenting. Honestly, loved this book. The Mister is also reading/skimming this book.
Secrets of the Baby Whisperer - currently reading
Happiest Baby on the Block - in the queue to be read
The Mother of All Pregnancy Books - The first thing I read, and it kinda scared me, but there was plenty of useful information on there. Just take all the complications with a grain of salt.
Watching this on DVD:
Baby Wise - I prefer spending an hour watching this then reading the entire book. Plus I've heard that the schedule they outline can be pretty flexible, depending on baby and mom.
Books for Daddy:
What to Expect When Your Wife is Expanding - in the Mister queue to be read
Be Prepared: A Practical Handbook for New Dads - we got this for a friend who is due in November, and he enjoyed it/found it useful.
