Boston Strong

This week's events in Boston have turned into a surrealistic nightmare.  From the loss of innocent life, to hundreds injured, a city and a nation rocked, and my faith in humanity shaken.  It makes me wonder why I though bringing a child into this world was a good idea.  Where churches, schools, and now marathons are no longer safe and where our government failed to pass crucial legislation.  And how when he's old enough to ask me about these events, what would I say to him.  It's in those times that I'll turn to the advice of Mr. Rogers.  I can only hope that he inherits a world where peace and tolerance are abundant, and events like this week, will be a distant memory.
