Gold Rush

It's getting to be that time again, when I give our condo the once over and think that it needs a little sprucing up.  I'm still obsessed with gold details, especially gold dots, clearly the Kate Spade Confetti DIY wall art I made last year didn't get it out of my system.   I am currently loving these gold DIY projects for around the house.  A couple of them are the perfect use for my left over gold spray paint from this DIY nursery project.  And those gold staples and Ampersands sign... I need them for the office this instant.

Monday, Monday: Dream Closet

Maybe it's the nude and grey combination, or the natural light, but this closet makes my heart happy.  The perfect combination between function and fancy.  And those crystal door pulls, sigh.  My favorite part about a dream closet, imagining all the goodies I could fill it with. Happy Monday!

Updates to the old pad

This weekend we picked up a couple of things for the house.  I love how a few accessories can make the place feel brand new.  And bonus, we purchased most of this on sale, thank you President's Day sales!

1. Zurich Vase $13 from Z Gallerie.  For our bathroom, the counter is need of some serious height.
2. Mimosa Runner in Charcoal $15 from Z Gallerie.  For the sideboard.  Love that there's plenty of white in the design but a pop of charcoal is just the right amount of color.
3. Jara Shade $30 from IKEA.  For our dinning room.  We've been sporting a naked bulb for a couple months now, oh the shame, but thanks to this beauty it's naked no more.

The Day the Light Fixture Died

I'm currently on the hunt for a light fixture that would hang over our dinning table.  As some of you might remember we had this DIY beauty in that same spot.  A couple of months ago we came home to this...
Our yarn ball had deflated, now we get to stare at a hanging light bulb.  The hunt has lead me to this.  I love the way you could customize it and work it into whatever you need, whether that's a light fixture, or a statement piece for your wedding.  It would look stunning over our dining table!
