Gifting :: Survival Kits for the Bachelorette & Bride-to-be

With wedding season quickly approaching, bridal showers and bachelorette party planning is in full swing.  Since I wasn't able to make it to a few bridal shower and bachelorette parties with the arrival of the little Man, I threw together a few survival kits for the brides to be.   If you're looking for any of these cards you can find them over at our Etsy store.

The bride-to-be kit included a Red Bull, Vodka, Advil, Band Aids, Evian Facial Mist, Wisps, deodorant, and of course chocolate, and lots of it.

Gifting :: Something Old, Something New..

We recapped the beautiful wedding of our bestie today on rivernorthLove.  So I thought I'd share our take on the traditional, "something old, something new, something borrowed, & something blue" that we gifted her.

For her something "old and borrowed"  we gifted her bangles from our wedding chuda sets.  It's such a cute idea, is something she could wear on her wedding day, and it's a little of our wedding day bliss that we're passing on to her.

Her something "new and blue" were these I Do shoe decals from Etsy, and this pair of VS bridal undies.   The Jimmy Choo's were from her fiancee.

And our last little something for the bride were our love letters to her.  I love the idea of the bride and groom exchanging letters on the morning of.  So all seventeen of her bridesmaids, wrote her a little note, just to say how much we love her and how excited we were for her.  And we gifted her those love letters on the morning of.  The box (pictured above) is from the Container Store that we embellished with bling, because our bride loves bling.

Saturday Edition: A Letter to the bestie on the eve of her wedding

Tomorrow the bestie becomes a Mrs!  It's a wedding 10 years in the making, and everything will be beautiful as the bride has envisioned.  Congratulations P, you're going to make a beautiful bride.

  Tomorrow you will wake up and become a bride, that day you've been dreaming of, it's finally here.  Enjoy your day as a bride, it only comes once.  Feel the love of all your friends and family as it radiates to surround you, as we wish you a lifetime of happiness.  And no matter what else happens today, today is your wedding day, the day you walk down the aisle and marry your best friend.  Soak in these moments because you're wedding day will go by too quickly.

I am so thankful we met that day in the music bldg, thankful that we were roommates, besties, and so much more.  You have been such a fixture in my life these past 11 years, and I'm a better person because of our friendship.  I love you so much and I'm so excited for you, I'm literally bursting at the seems.  Tomorrow is just the beginning and the best is yet to come. 

My wish for you:  a marriage more beautiful than your wedding, joy and laughter for years to come, understanding and compromise for those challenging days (may they be few and far between), and a love greater than any fairytale. 

Congratulations my love, tomorrow you go from miss to Mrs.
