Baby Week: Nursery Inspiration

It's Wednesday of Baby Week, which means we are sharing our nursery inspiration board!  When it came time to design our nursery/guestroom we knew we wanted a modern feel and that we liked a color palette of yellow & grey.  Working with just that, and after finding out we were expecting a lil' sir this March, we came up with this inspiration board to serve as a jumping off point for the room.  I love that this nursery inspiration board is both a lil' modern & a lil' retro, and has a variety of patterns & textures.  It's not too babyish, and perfect for him to grow into over the years.

25th Silver Birthday Fete

I am a sucker for a fabulous dessert table, and this 25th birthday party has just that.  With a lovely backdrop, gorgeous display of edible treats, monochromatic color scheme, and pretty signage, this dessert table definitely has that wow factor.  Love the use of chevron and polka dots giving this dessert table a modern feel, and the all white desserts adds a touch of elegance, the perfect combination for a 25 year old.

House Crashing: Hillary Swank's Manhattan Home

Love the zen feeling and modern style of Hillary Swank's NYC pad.  Designed by Mark Zeff, her home is both serene and stylish.  A palette of greys, clean whites, and dark woods grounds her home, while artwork and a reclaimed wood wall breathe variance into the lovely home she shares with her dog Kai.  Happy Tuesday!
