Airport Style

I'll be on a jet plane tomorrow heading to Omaha for the bestie's wedding.  My bags are over flowing (typical with a 4 day Indian wedding), my speech is written, and I'm so excited for her and her soon to be 'Mister'.  With many crowding the airports this holiday weekend, here's a look at some of my favorite airport styles.

 Think comfort, with either jeans or leggings; flats to make getting through airport security easier; keeping warm with a jacket or sweater and a scarf; chic luggage, and of course huge sunnies to hide from the paparazzi.

Monday, Monday: Wardrobe Basics

 Hope you lovelies had a fabulous weekend.  Ours was a whirlwind that included a segway tour of downtown, an Epicurious event, a wedding, a graduation party, and an early mother's day celebration.  Needless to say I'm exhausted.  I'll be recapping the amazing Epicurious Entertains Chicago event tomorrow, where I had the best beer-cocktail of my life.   But today, with spring showers that are not letting up in Chicago this week, it's the perfect time for some spring (closet) cleaning.  Love this wardrobe basics series by LA in the Bay.  Here are her takes on the little black dress, and boyfriend jeans.  Happy Monday!

Coveting... Marissa Webb's closet

I am a huge JCrew fan.  I would live out of their catalogs if possible, and I think a huge part of that is their amazing design and style team.  So it goes without saying that I have a huge girl crush on Marissa Webb and her fabulous closet!  Marissa Webb, was the former head of Women's Design at JCrew and her style is impeccable.  She's always feminine and stylish, who doesn't love that combination?
